Privacy policy

What we collect, and why.

Last updated 22 September 2026. The Therapy Tap is run by The Social Tap ("we"). Contact: rachel@thetherapytap.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you enter it in a form on this site or on one of our training pages, together with which page you used and when.
  • Usage data collected by our web server (IP address, browser, pages visited) and by the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure and improve our advertising.

How we use it

  • To email you about continuing-education workshops and events we think are worth your time, and reminders about a training you started registering for.
  • To understand which of our pages and ads work, so we can run fewer, better ones.

We do not sell your email address or share it with other marketers.

Who else sees it

  • Training providers — when you register for an event run by someone else, you do so on their website, under their privacy policy. We may earn a commission on registrations made through our links.
  • Service providers that store or deliver data for us: Google (spreadsheets), Amazon Web Services (email delivery), Meta (advertising measurement), DigitalOcean (hosting).

Your choices

  • Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or use the unsubscribe page. It takes effect immediately.
  • You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you by emailing rachel@thetherapytap.com.
  • You can block the Meta Pixel with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker; the site works without it.

How long we keep it

Your email address stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and are then discarded.
